Opening in October of 1884 with nearly six-hundred acres of land, Westview Cemetery was designed to be the premier cemetery in the Southeast. During the past century, more than 108,000 interments have taken place here.
Operating as a non-profit organization, Westview remains the largest cemetery in the Southeast today, and one of the largest non-profit cemeteries in the United States.
Through the years, families representing all religions, cultures and walks of life have entrusted us to preserve their unique family heritage in a tradition of compassion, integrity, and excellence.

FROM NORTH OF ATLANTA
- Take I-75 or I-85 outside the perimeter
- When you get to the perimeter (285), TURN WEST and go to I-20
- Take EXIT TO ATLANTA from I-20
- When you get on I-20 GOING EAST to Atlanta
- Go to EXIT #53 M.L.K. DRIVE
- TURN LEFT at the foot of the exit
- Follow the fence to the main entrance
FROM NORTH ATLANTA
- Take I-75 or I-85 through town
- Get off on I-20 WEST toward Birmingham
- Take EXIT #54 (LANGHORN STREET TO CASCADE ROAD)
- TURN Right at the end of the Ramp
- Go under the overpass, and turn Right again. (You can only turn right here)
- Go to the stop sign and turn Right. This is Westview Dr.
- Westview Dr. will end in front of the Cemetery.
FROM SOUTH OF ATLANTA
- Take I-75 or I-85 through town
- Get off on I-20 WEST toward Birmingham
- Take EXIT #54 (LANGHORN STREET TO CASCADE ROAD)
- TURN Right at the end of the Ramp
- Go under the overpass, and turn Right again. (You can only turn right here)
- Go to the stop sign and turn Right. This is Westview Dr.
- Westview Dr. will end in front of the Cemetery.
