In order to receive the airfare stipend of up to $500.00, you must attend the entire ILE conference, Carlsbad post fam and follow the booking instructions below.  The destination will be reimbursing the flights after the event. Please note that flight receipts need to be received by July 16, 2025 in order to maintain your hosted status.

You will need to arrive into Los Angeles Airport (LAX) on Sunday, August 17, 2025 by 2:00 PM PT and depart from Carlsbad (CLD) or San Diego International Airport (SAN) on Friday, August 22, 2025.  Uber vouchers will be provided via cell phone numbers for transportation to one of the approved airports above.

Important conditions:

• First class and business class airfare will not be reimbursed, regardless of if it is below the maximum reimbursable amount
• Checked bag fees will not be reimbursed
• If Participant does not visit Carlsbad as planned for any reason, no reimbursement will be made, including for non-refundable travel
• Visit Carlsbad will initiate reimbursement payment within 15 days after visit or after receiving travel receipt and payment information, whichever is later
